Taylor's Chai Sugar Cookies- Magic Oats Style
It's that time of year Taylor Swifts chai sugar cookies resurface the internet --so we had to reintroduce our own spin on this easy cookie recipe. These dairy and gluten free inspired cookies with the warm vanilla chai spices are a must try! They are the perfect treat to satisfy any craving. PLUS perfect to dunk into a glass of fresh Magic Oats oat milk. Just add water to our instant oat milk powder to enjoy oat milk in seconds.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 C Vegan Butter
- 1/2 C Refined Coconut Oil
- 1/4 C Vanilla Chai Oat Milk Powder
- 1/2 C Sugar
- 1/2 C Powdered Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 C Gluten Free Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Vanilla Chai Glaze
-1/2 C Powderd Sugar
-1/2 tbsp Water
-2 tsp Vanilla Chai Oat Milk Powder
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat the oven to 350F and prepare a baking sheet.
2. In a large bowl, beat together the oil and vegan butter. Add sugar, egg, oat milk powder, and vanilla.
3. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
4. Chill the dough for 1 hour.
5. Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to form the cookies. TIP: Dip the measuring cup in water before filling it with the mixture to avoid sticking.
6. Bake for 9 minutes or until golden on the edges. Leave to cool for a few minutes, then carefully transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. NOTE: Fragile until completely cooled down.
Vanilla Chai Glaze
7. Mix 1/2 C icing sugar with water. Add 2 tsp Vanilla Chai Oat Milk Powder. Glaze cookies and enjoy!
