Whether it's your birthday or you just want to treat yourself, these baked oats are a perfect combination of flavours and textures. We used our Unsweetened Vanilla Oat Milk Powder to elevate the birthday cake flavour. Enjoy the celebration in every bite!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Ripe Banana, Mashed

  • 1 C Unsweetened Vanilla Oat Milk

  • 1 Tsp baking powder

  • 2 Tbsp honey (adjust according to your sweetness preference)

  • 2 Tbsp sprinkles (plus extra for topping)

  • 1 ½ C blended oats ( or oat flour)

  • Oat yogurt for topping

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with a bit of oil or cooking spray.

2. Mix 4 tbsp of Magic Oats Unsweetened Vanilla Oat Milk Powder with 1 C Water in a large mixing bowl. (Our oat milk will act as the vanilla flavour and milk all in one)

2. Next add the mashed banana into the same bowl. Mix well until the banana is well incorporated.

3. Add the blended oats (oat flour) to the wet ingredients, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

4. Gently fold in the baking powder, honey, and the festive sprinkles. The sprinkles add a burst of colour and a touch of celebration to your baked oats.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Insert a toothpick into the centre to ensure readiness.

7. Let the baked oats cool for a few minutes before slicing. Top each slice with a generous dollop of oat yogurt and extra sprinkles.Serve warm and enjoy the birthday cake goodness with every spoonful!

OPTIONAL TIPS:

  • Experiment with different types of sprinkles to add variety and color.

  • Drizzle a bit of extra honey on top for a sweeter kick.

  • Serve with fresh berries or sliced bananas for an extra fruity twist.
